Metamorphosis — click to enlarge

Beth and I have been wanting to shoot this for a while, so when Pretty Little Magazine named their next ‘I Love Analogue’ competition as ‘Metamorphosis’, we thought it was time to get sticky.

The shoot was inspired by a Slayer music video…have fun finding it and David Fincher’s title sequence from ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’.

As the shoot evolved, it grew into Francis Bacon and HR Giger territory.

We shot with 3 cameras.

My old Minolta 7D, which I’ve just started using again, i’ve missed it. With Fuji 400 Slide film. Processed at The Vault. Those photos are over on Beth’s Blog, here, where she talks about the shoot.

My lomo, Mini-Diana, with Fuji 1oo ASA Slide, cross-processed at Colourstream. These are the messed up photos that we’ve entered and are showing here.

Slow shutter, cross-processed slide and little lomo camera showed the beautiful texture and animal likeness of Beth’s performance. Thanks to our friend and dancer Elena Saorin who asssited.
